MADE IN consists of two inflatable plastic figures hiding under used textiles or strangled by them. The two reptilians were created in 2026 for the first Pulkautal Biennale and installed in a historic underground tunnel of the Seitweg in Hadres. They allude to the region’s pre-human past as the shoreline of a Tertiary sea. Crafted from unorganic waste materials, they blend seamlessly with other traces of the Anthropocene.

The objects are conceived to be part of performative actions which include filling them with old wine, shooting them and subsequently laying them to rest somewhere by the side of the road accompanied by a ritual procession.
